Review on AmpliFi Ubiquiti Seamless Touchscreen Expandable Networking Products and Whole Home & Mesh Wi-Fi Systems by Adam Paka (Adam Trab ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are deviations, in general it is tolerable.

After about half a year, the connection between the devices began to weaken rapidly. Initially, between the main and additional points there were two walls of a log house and a distance of more than 10 meters, then it had to be halved. Now (more than a year since the start of use), an additional point is almost never visible on the network. You can switch to an Ethernet Backbone, but pull the power through, and in general, for such a task, you could use twice the cheaper Mikrotik Hap AC2, or something powered by PoE.

Pros
  • Good connection, small pings.
Cons
  • The additional point practically "died" in a year of use.
