This camera mount is easy to use and easy to assemble with a little patience. It is very robust with many adapters. Unfortunately, the adapters that came with it didn't fit my camera. With a bit of ingenuity, I solved this problem by removing the ball connector from the suction cup mount that came with my camera and attaching it to the mount. Works great! I love the fact that it's sturdy on my rearview mirror and is only about 1/4" wide. I have a rearview mirror that has all the "bells and whistles" like auto headlights, dimming, etc. Also, due to the on electronics attached to the windshield (windshield with rain sensor) doesn't have much room near the rear view mirror.With this mount I don't have to remove my camera to attach the sun visor (a must for anyone living in Florida) and if something with my current one DVR happens and I buy a new one, I can still use this mount without removing it from the mirror, you just need to loosen the screw where the ball mount and camera ball connect, take out the camera ball mount and put a new one in. This is a very simple design but a very necessary accessory for those who have a DVR!
