I have a Craftsman random orbit sander and this product has not been marked as brand specific. However, the hole sizes were exactly the same, so I took a risk. The old plate has small indentations for small protrusions on the grinder. It doesn't have that plate and when I tightened it the part didn't lay flat. It had ups and downs. No matter how I loosened and tightened the screws, it didn't lay flat. I took an old record and saw how they differed so I wiped everything soft off the old record and smoothed it out. Then I put the old record back on, lined up the tabs with the notches, and then put the new record on top. Luckily there were enough screws to attach both panels. Problem solved.
