This GearTrac is fairly easy to install and requires no internal tools. Simply use the Trac as a guide to drill 1/8" pilot holes and the included self-tapping screws will do the rest. Be sure to apply some Aquasil or other silicone sealant to the holes or threads before installing the screws This is a great option as I'm strategically positioned to accept VisiCarbon Pro in situations where my heavy duty bindings are already being talked about (camera boom plus pole tube) The flag doesn't require the strength of a heavy duty mount or stronger rail.
