Barely fits my Eagle Talon kayak I have the 8" version, it is much stronger and more reliable than the first generation rails I also installed , and they are very unreliable in comparison

Shipping was fast and well packaged. This is the 2nd generation of these tracks. They have a wider base and 2 screw holes to put on each side instead of one in the middle which ends better and stronger. Very happy with everything around.

Used to install my Helix 5 on my Perception Crank 10 and it worked perfectly, very durable and well made just expensive for what you get but no others options. the same quality at a lower price. You can buy a longer version and cut it in half to save money.

For what they are we are cheated on the price, they are good quality parts but the price is crazy to make up for these to add mounting points for my 135 radar for multi day riding and camping.

I have several on my kayak. I have a basic 8ft kayak that was made just for kayaking. I am an avid fisherman. In the beginning I wasn't doing so well. I installed two of the 12 inch rails, one on each side and four inches long to the back. I've since added a couple of rod holders, a paddle holder and a spike for the anchor line. I'm out on the water every weekend fishing from a kayak. They are durable, they are very useful and easy to install.

This GearTrac is fairly easy to install and requires no internal tools. Simply use the Trac as a guide to drill 1/8" pilot holes and the included self-tapping screws will do the rest. This item is a big improvement on the tracks on my Old Town Predator PDL kayak. I highly recommend them. The built-in boards that came with the kayak did not allow for the use of double-T brackets to attach heavy poles. These rails, bolted to the top of the board, greatly improved strength and allowed the full length of the rail to be used. The only downside for me was that it comes with small screws for attachment.
