Not sure if these help or make things worse

I got these to help with plantar fasciitis. Nice extra comfort in the heals but has done nothing to help my pf, it actually may have made it worse? I wore them in my gym shoes for a few months and just recently removed them and the pain seems lesser than when I was using them.

They felt too firm for me, actually hurt more after a short while. Needs to be more like a memory foam. Not good for my plantar fasciitis.
