It's annoying when you buy what your child needs and they can only wear it for a month or two. I've learned to quickly enlarge jackets so they can last a full year (sometimes almost 2). So it runs a bit big because I ordered it that way. Polyester outside, fleece inside. It's soft on the inside and keeps you warm. The outside is waterproof and windproof, so it stays dry and doesn't freeze when it's windy. The hood is detachable and has reflective stripes for the night. I also like that it's bold so I can spot it in a crowd.
