I read a review about the difficulty installing drivers and running the dongle, but bought the dongle anyway. My computer automatically updated to Windows Feature Update 1909 and destroyed my original Wi-Fi networking gear. So I had high hopes for this key to restore communication. I no longer have a CD drive, so I had to download the software from another computer that was connected to the internet. I copied the software to the computer in question and then plugged in the dongle to run the driver. To my surprise, the dongle connected to the internet on its own before I could start the installation application. I installed the driver anyway and found that the software creates a monitor to track the dongle's performance. I'm thrilled so far. I'm still mad at Microsoft for screwing me up. At $17, this key was a cheap solution to get me back online.
