The Jespet box that arrived seems to be of good quality. Durable material

I own many brands of soft cages that have been used a lot (travelling, dog events) over the last ten years. Soft case prices have skyrocketed over the past few years, so I was looking for a relatively affordable 36-inch box to replace my old N2N, which was pretty much broken after a few years of use. The Jespet box that arrived seems to be of good quality. Sturdy, stitching in good condition, clips to close the drawer when folded are aligned and have a clean effect. It doesn't have a carrying case like the Elitefield crates, but the carry handle is quite handy. The supplied drawer bed is of the usual quality. , not interesting, but still useful. The zipper works well and the extra pockets (more than any other similar drawer I've seen) are a welcome addition. I only used this box for a weekend but was pleased with the ease of installation and disassembly. Enough that I bought a second one to replace another old padded box that is nearing the end of its life. The only thing that worries me over time is that the mesh, while stiff, has larger holes than similar boxes and I think less down can catch on a nail and tear. However, no soft cage will last long for a dog determined to escape, and when considering using a soft cage as a method of containment, the dog's cage manners should always be considered. Edit 2017: I'm reducing my rating from 4 to 2 stars based on drawer lid washing results. The cage was looking good after over a year of brief use (4-6 days a month at dog shows with a very respectful dog who didn't touch the cage at all). Unfortunately one day the dog vomited in the cage and I decided to use a removable cover and wash it in the washing machine. Lay it on a cold, delicate cloth with the zippers closed, like I've done for my N2Ns and Elitefields in the past. ERROR. Part of the stitching of the zipper/mesh for the front flap has essentially unraveled to the point where the zipper itself has become unusable and a significant hole has been created. Luckily the zippers were on the other side so I basically glued, patched and sewed the whole section together to make the drawer usable at all, but the front flap would never fully open again. Bow!
