The pins were covered in green plastic dust and shavings from the box. I assume they rub against the inside of the box. A bit annoying but not in the way, I just got all the pins out and blew them out with an air compressor. This probably only happens with 2" pins and possibly 1-3/4" because the box lid doesn't close completely as the pins are above the bottom box lid. So when it's knocked down, the pressure on the pins inside the box is relieved, causing them to break the inside. Would buy again despite not using jams with a fasco pin.
