Review on 🔊 Sony ICF-CD863V Clock Radio - AM/FM/TV/Weather, CD Player (Discontinued) by Percy Haulin

I've been looking for a clock radio with CD player for a long time and finally decided on this model. It benefited from the widest range of functions (in particular the ability to program a CD track). On the other hand, it's not perfect: 1. I like the green on the black display better than the black on the amber background of this model, which is sometimes difficult to see without glasses2. There is no second alarm setting for the weekend. The description is very unclear about this.3. The soft wake function is nowhere to be found, despite the description. The manual doesn't mention this. I never use the soft sleep feature as I find it more useful when it slowly turns up the radio/CD volume in the morning. It doesn't look that difficult to implement features when the volume is reduced.4. There is no backup battery in case of power failure, which is important for alarm clocks. Can't comment on the sound quality as I only use it to play CDs to wake me up and talk for the few minutes I spend in the bedroom and the sound is good enough. for my taste.
