Reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen! These wonderful, simple towels are the best thing to have. They are designed for working kitchens, for people who love to cook and bake. You can have as many cute designer kitchen towels as you want, I give up every time! The fabric is perfect, not too heavy and not too light. The flour sack cloth I used to dry my dishes today as I don't have a dishwasher was very absorbent. Some kitchen towels simply repel moisture. I love baking, especially bread. I baked whole wheat bread tonight, let it cool, and then wrapped it in one of those flour bag towels. Absolute perfection when I unwrapped and sliced it open. Plastic containers and bags will ruin a loaf of homemade bread, leaving a rubbery crust and wet bottom. Now I wrap my freshly baked bread in it! This is the real deal and I just can't say enough good things about them! This is a return to basics for me!
