Works great with lighting fixtures. Not intended for anything heavy.

Works great, easy to install. Drill an appropriately sized hole. Be careful not to overtighten as the plastic parts may burst later. Do not hang heavy equipment on it. It relies on your ceiling's drywall to hold it up. A standard surface mount fastener is sufficient.
