I don't feel much heat. Warmth seems to be coming from the soles of my feet. I see that the manual says 113°F, which is almost slightly higher than a normal human's body temperature. I have to take off my socks and feel warm, although the heat is not strong, it does feel warm after use. The leg compression feels good and there are two strength options. This should work the same way the rubber airbags the doctor put on my legs earlier, squeezing my legs together to force fluid out of them and improve circulation. After using it a few times my swelling has gone down drastically! The balls on my toes are larger than some of the other balls I've used and took me a while to get used to and felt very soft and comfortable on the carpet after each use. The instructions do not state that it can be removed and washed, only wiped clean. It's not OCD friendly because my husband has OCD. Not me. i can accept it So far I am very happy with the results!
