The hard case should fit snugly in your briefcase or backpack while protecting your Samsung T5 SSD. This is the third or fourth I've bought and this case is 4 ¾ x 3 ⅝ x 1 3/4 while the last ones were 3 ⅝ x 3 ⅝ x 1 ⅛. I like the fact that it's slightly larger to easily slip in an SSD and there's enough room for a cable and possibly a flash drive. The smaller ones fit the drive well, but it was a bit of a hassle to adjust the cable. I will definitely buy more if the need arises.
