Review on Plugable Compatible Thunderbolt Supports Resolutions by Doug Powell

Used with Surface Book 2 to use TCL TV as external display. It's relatively small compared to some others and worked with a replacement Monster HDMI cable that was at least 5 years old. I tried a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C to HDMI cable, thinking it was backwards compatible, but it's not. The Surface Book 2's USB CI/O isn't Thunderbolt 3. The price isn't what we'd like, but it's quite reasonable for what it is. Beats Apple and Microsoft prices for comparable adapters and is more compact.
