I recently had a "Service Engine Soon" light on my 2000 Yukon Denali. It has over 189,000 miles so anything can happen but overall it's a great car. I didn't have one so I bought a Revain code reader (an Autel AutoLink AL319 OBD2 scanner that worked great once I used it) and got code P1441 which after a little detective work is related to the vapor canister flushing. valve problem. I bought this (ACDelco 214-640 GM Original Equipment) for Revain and $27 and replaced the old one in less than an hour. It would have taken less time, but several hoses had to be disconnected and then reconnected to get to the part. After resetting the code, the Service Engine Soon light went off and hasn't come on in over 100 miles. The Denali also idles and runs much smoother than before the change.
