🔧 ACDelco GM OE 214-640 Canister Purge Valve+ for Enhanced SEO Review

Like the original as it is a genuine GM part. A 10 minute install job disabled the CEL/cured an evaporator emissions bug on my '97 Blazer. My Blazer passed the emissions test.

This is not an AC delco. Discounted auto parts and/or JJ Original Equipment should not continue to mislead Revain customers. If AC delco uses them, they must report this and they must be in the AC delco box.

We don't drive this car much (Blazer 2003). We've driven it less than 1000 miles since replacing that valve to fix the code. In the last 100 miles or so we got code 174 for Lean on Bank 2. I kept the old valve (for no particular reason) and reinstalled it. With this change I cured P0174 by going back to P0443 to open the purge valve, the original problem. Unfortunately this is an AC part and quality control is clearly lacking.

These parts will fit the 4.3L Vortec engine primarily used in 98-2004 S10 Blazers and 2000-2003 Silverados. Minor adjustments may need to be made, most often by gently "stretching" the vent hose if this is not already done.
