Review on ☕️ KitchenAid KCG8433ER Empire Red Burr Coffee Grinder, 10 oz: A Perfect Addition to Your Kitchen Gadgets! by Donald Shah

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quiet, clean, easy to use and large grinding range

We have had this grinder for about 2 months now and use it daily for french press, pour over and espresso. I really like this machine for several reasons: First, it's the cleanest coffee grinder I've ever used. Because the ground material falls directly into the container and also does not become statically charged. Our previous grinder and many others on the market had a grinder outlet on the side of the bowl - that makes absolutely no sense. I believe this unit is belt driven and appears to run at a much slower speed making it much quieter than previous ones. mills. Also, it seems to be more intelligent in terms of grain depletion, giving it better control over engine speed. I like the screen and the grinder setting. We regularly switch between pour over and espresso grinds. I like having an espresso basket holder so the grounds can be loaded directly without another potentially messy transfer step. Excess coffee grounds that might fall off the espresso basket end up in the lower tray, further improving cleaning. I find the grind to be just right for a French Press and not too fine as some other reviewers have said. On the other hand, the degree of grinding is actually too fine for our pressure portafilter espresso machine, so we leave it at 5 clicks from the finest setting. I really hope this device lasts for many years to come as it was exactly what we were looking for so far.
