Yes they are strong but...

Hooray it has a strong hold and is very durable if used properly. Although unable to hold on after child climbing, he stands strong alongside chronically clumsy children/adults without coordination. Ehh: A huge frown for how products look after installation. They stand out because they are much larger than pictured, they are white (very bright white) and they are on top and outside of anything you pin. Very noticeable for me and even more so for my baby. Safety always comes first, so I installed it. A?: They do cause trouble! My little one perfected a new "secret toy" and immediately had to have a "white block (anchor)"; basically because he was out of her reach/hidden from her. The obvious happened, in no time she was climbing onto the shelves. When I got to her, she actually shifted her entire weight onto a shelf as she pulled the shelf up. This was the first time this product has helped my child and I am grateful. without reinstalling new adhesives (which must not damage a damaged wall). Really?: The main disadvantage is that the paint is ripped off the wall and cannot be completely removed. Maybe they should be semi-permanent? What is a second, right?: Anchors are located at the top and edges of the object. As the child grows, so do the furniture and surroundings; Personalization of these environmental factors as well. Solution: This is (in my opinion) an expensive "band-aid" for your child's safety. You don't want to rely on bandages. Screw/bracket mounting provides more security/stability and virtual security; all with less damage. Band-aids are useful, although I could put them in an emergency kit. This can help in both a child emergency and a real emergency (e.g.: incorrectly installed anchor bar/bar broken, use as doorstop, secure [keep inside] doors/gates/cage/etc., barricade [prevent one {press firmly against the door, stick the sticky side on the floor}] etc.). To each their own, but my method is old-fashioned.
