Bought this for my teenage boys to experiment with making beef jerky for a summer project. They still have a few things to learn to get exactly what they want, but the machine worked great. The boys were very pleased to be able to prepare their own appetizer for the season and cook it to their liking. I also bought it to make baby food by drying fruit. It was very easy to make and my kid loves it. And dehydrating fruit means fruit lasts longer and is easy to store for future use, rather than throwing it away when my child hasn't eaten all of it. I love that these two cooking methods reduced the amount of money as well. I had to splurge at the grocery store and no longer need to buy those processed foods. Can't wait to try more products but so far we've only tried the fruit and beef choices. But I would buy it again and recommend it.
