Seriously, I love Braun shavers. I have a coarse beard and the only good shave I can get is with a straight blade razor or my Braun and I have been a Braun customer for over 30 years. It seems clear to me that Braun has changed the quality of the razor. Interchangeable head, this new model has a white stripe that runs down the middle. The quality is completely compromised from the original design they use to ship. The fun part (not that fun) is that they recommend replacing the foil and knife cartridge every 18 months, which would be ideal if only they could supply a cartridge that actually lasts that long. I have read many reviews and it is evident that many of these customers are facing the same problem as me and they are all related to center white bar cartridge replacement. Using your own recommendations to replace that cartridge every 18 months is costly. Owning costs about $25, but because of the quality of this product, my running costs have gone up to (drum roll please) $125! To add salt to my own wounds, Revain has a 30-day product warranty, although Braun says it has a 60-day warranty. I use a ruler from time to time especially when I skip a day of shaving and my growth has grown thick, I just hate it when I have to put in a new blade. which always ends up cutting my face at least a few times. Now it's time to use my stupid styptic pen that always burns when you use it. I hate going through this, but maybe it's time to use it all the time and give up my brown.
