Doesn't get as hot as other cheaper models we've bought; at a high level of 1500. In addition, the shutdown on the screen does not work, there is a switch that needs to be pressed at the bottom. A little annoying, but not critical. Other small handheld heaters have a temperature setting so they turn off when they reach that temperature and turn back on to maintain it. This heater only has a timer, so it heats up. but eventually turned off. I prefer heaters that hold the temperature; this. Sleep through the night and keep it constant.
