The first thing I would like to say is that Asus is a great company and they make great products. I've been buying from them for almost 20 years and have never had a complaint. Asus Expert Center d500sa positions itself as a business calculator. But this isn't the kind of computer you want to buy if you need to set it up quickly to get it up and running. First of all, the Windows 10 product key does not come with the computer. You need to contact Asus Support to get a product key. I have not yet received a product key from Asus Support. Hard drive is partitioned in Windows 10, so you cannot extend C drive to get full disk space. In my case it is 500 GB. There is a 1GB recovery partition separating drive C from drive D. If you want to extend C drive, you need to delete recovery partition. Also, there is no crash recovery software and you have to buy it from a third party. I bought them to take out the drive, replace it with a larger SSD, reinstall the OS and have it on my desktop in a day. But these computers won't let you do that. Asus thinks installing hardware locking software is a great idea. I uninstalled Asus Business Manager and now I don't have USB support on my computer. I have followed the instructions to remove the USB host controller along with other Device Manager items to no avail. I went to the Microsoft Store following the instructions on the Asus website to find out that the Asus Business Manager is no longer available. My 30 day return period has expired so I'm stuck with a business computer that can't help my customer to quickly replace a faulty computer. Do yourself a favor and buy a Dell business computer. The Windows 10 Pro product key is included in the BIOS of Dell Business PCs. You can take out the hard drive, install a new one, and get the client up and running again in under two hours. The only reason I bought these 2 Asus computers is the price I got from Revain. 529 is much cheaper than Dell's Optiplex small form factor business PC, which costs around $750. With a 10th gen Intel Core i5 processor scoring over 13,000, I didn't think I could go wrong with this PC. But I was deeply mistaken as I have been working on these tasks for two days now. So don't waste your time and money on these computers when you need to quickly install them in a medical facility, especially during a severe pandemic.
