Excellent system. Quickly. No questions. It worked the first time. One small issue is that ASUS chose to create two non-consecutive partitions on the 500GB drive. One for OS and one for DATA. Why? I was trying to connect to an ultra wide (3440 x 1440) monitor. I was only able to get a lower resolution via the HDMI port. Using the digital display port resulted in a correct resolution but a flickering display. Called support, had to call multiple times to get to the right department and they couldn't share the collected data between departments which is quite inefficient. I haven't looked at the specs on this and other similar machines, but for the same price ($630 at the time of writing this article) you can get a DS700 with 8 GB, which can be expanded to 128 GB instead of 64 GB. It could be better in terms of a "future-proof" device you want to get. So be sure to check all specifications before making a decision.
