Review on Adjustable LED Flood Light With Motion Sensor: Amico 3-Head Security Light, 40W, 4000LM, 5000K, IP65 Waterproof For Garage, Yard (White) by Pat Haberman

Turns ON with no reason.

This light has everything one would want it to have – bright LED bulbs, ambient light sensor, motion detector, distance, and timer adjustments. If only, would it work! The problem is that when it’s cold or windy or raining, the light randomly turns ON when there is nobody moving in front of it. Then, after the set time interval, it turns OFF and then again ON and OFF and so on all night. I can only imagine how irritating it is for my neighbors across the street. This cannot be blamed on a faulty sample; I have two of them and both have this problem. To me it is obvious that the motion sensor threshold is set too low. It also appears to be dependent on the ambient temperature. One way or another, this product has never been tested by the vendor in a real-life environment. Now it’s too cold to deal with this, but when it gets warmer, I will have to replace these lights with something that works reliably. Any suggestions? The one that I am leaning towards is – get it from a reputable vendor. Hopefully, then it is going to be tested before offered to the public.
