Review on Pentax D FA F2.8ED SDM WR 15-30mm f/2.8: The Ultimate Pentax K Ultra-Wide Angle Zoom Lens by Antoine Collins

I use this lens on my Pentax K-1. Pros: Excellent and stable sharpness throughout the focal length and from center to edge; low chromatic aberration in the center but, as is usual with wide-angle lenses, it increases towards the edges (but nothing the LR Classic can't handle); durable, well made and water resistant. Cons: Heavy and external zoom that can lead to dust and water ingress over time. While the sharpness of the Rokinon/Samyang 14mm f/2.8 is considered very high (not to mention it's much cheaper), the Pentax's sharpness rivals it and has a lower CA than the Rokinon (at least on my specimen ) can be serious. .
