Hard to give even 3 stars as they only lasted 3 months. But for the price, they're good speakers in a freshwater boat or somewhere they won't get splashed with salt water. The tone was good from my unamplified receiver which is rated at 20W RMS, 50W peak. Installed them on the center console and they all stopped playing bass. After spending money assuming I needed a new receiver, I discovered that the problem was actually the speakers. The gauzy wire that connects the speaker wires between the terminals and the tweeter and then runs down the surface of the cone into the woofer was not properly weather sealed and corroded/broke very quickly. Not sure if it was just lazy worker or a design flaw, but the caulk that covered most of the wires/connections didn't completely cover this super thin wire. I have OCD from flushing all the salt water off my boat after every use including these new kicker speakers I just installed so poor maintenance wasn't an issue. They lasted 3 months.
