The highs are as clear as the Kenwood I replaced, but the mids and bass are excellent! worth your money. Just installed, let's see how long they last. My Kenwoods have been on the boat for 2 years and are hoping for at least 3 of those.

These speakers add a whole new dimension to my boat stereo sound. It was a little anemic and shallow, maybe a little boomy. I now have clear and crisp highs and surprisingly strong but controlled bass. Super investment and replacement for my original Jensen speakers including drilling pattern. terry cloth

The speakers sound clear and distortion-free even at high volumes. They also have insane bass for this size. I see no need to add a subwoofer to my audio system. I replaced cheap 180 watt 4 ohm boss speakers they just blew their minds. The only downside is that the cutout is a pretty awkward size since no one sells a 5-3/16" hole saw.

Great sound for the price. I would definitely buy or recommend it again and am pretty picky about the sound quality. The seller was also very helpful! The ones I got have a very small built in rubber seal, that would be my only gripe that it was a bit more substantial. I'm concerned it won't prevent water from getting in behind it and plan on adding my own.

I've been looking for replacement 6.6 inch speakers all summer. I didn't know if I should seriously spend money on JL or Wetsounds or go for these kickers. After a long research I decided on Kicker. I am very impressed. Super great sound from them. They're ripping off my old speakers. I just don't understand how JL it Wetsounds can sound better. I am completely satisfied.

I love everything about these speakers. A total of 4 loudspeakers were installed in an older Wellcraft Eclipse 19.6 from 1996. Before the installation there were Audiovox marine speakers. The new sound quality exceeds all expectations. I just love the full, well-rounded sound of these speakers. 100% would reinstall them in any future app. You've had about 3 months so far with no disappointments or setbacks. Excellent quality from the iron to the speaker.

I replaced my 15 year old JVC marine speakers with these as they were quite worn out. These speakers are powered by a JVC head unit only (no amplifier). They produce a very clear sound at high volumes, but sound a bit tinny at high frequencies. The bass reproduction is ok for a speaker of this size and could probably be significantly better if they were installed in a correspondingly large box instead of in my radar arch. 4 stars because of tin highs. Well, I don't usually write product reviews, but wow! They replaced my 3 year old Polk marine speakers which I thought sounded really good. These kickers sound much cleaner and have much deeper bass than the Polk speakers. To be honest when you compare them to the Polk you can tell the KM604 are better built! Hard to give even 3 stars as they only lasted 3 months. But for the price, they're good speakers in a freshwater boat or somewhere they won't get splashed with salt water.
