I have a 5 year old iPad that I use a lot and needs to be charged daily. I'm not sure if it's the iPad contact or the charging cable, but in many cases the iPad won't charge. I thought it would be great to have an LED charging cable so I can see if the iPad is charging or not. It's definitely charging, but I'm disappointed that the brightness is really great where the cord plugs into the wall. Closer to the iPad, the light dims noticeably. At first I thought it was because the iPad used to be partially charged. But it really doesn't matter. I only had it for about a week or so. The time will show. It's 6 feet, maybe that's why. I don't have the same problem with Christmas lights that aren't fully lit. It turns off completely when charged to 100%.
