Great price, great performance!

The 2004 Mazda 3 had a minor misfire that turned into a not-so-minor misfire after about a week. I found oil in spark plug wells 2 and 3 and suspected that this might be the problem, so I replaced the valve cover gasket (get an upgraded FelPro design!). This stopped the oil but not the misfires so the spark plugs were next up. Luckily I got a hell of a deal on spark plugs as two NKG ITR6F13 plugs usually cost more than that coil set. When this didn't solve the problem, I decided to try these. I was a bit wary as they are a lot cheaper than I have found anywhere else for this type of coil but they did the trick. I have no record of changing coils on my car and it all started at around 160,000 miles so it's definitely time for new ones. As I said, they're pretty cheap in price, but the construction and materials seem to be the same as the coils I pulled out, so I'm not overly concerned. I've already driven them about 3,000 miles with no problems and if they break they're cheap enough that you can just buy another set and swap them out again. I'm also not sure if it was new spark plugs, coils or both, but now I'm getting 33-35mpg where I used to get 28-30mpg. I'll update if I run into any durability issues, but for now they get the thumbs up from me!
