I started using Reef Crystals about 12 years ago. I've been using it for a few years and finally decided to try some new salts just to see if I noticed any positive changes in our corals. I've tried Red Sea Coral Pro (black bucket), Red Sea Regular (blue bucket) and Brightwell Aquatics NeoMarine. Regular Red Sea salt was the only other salt that our aquarium responded well to as well. While Red Sea salt is excellent quality and mixes fairly quickly, the price is a bit high for most people using larger systems. Red Sea Salt is around $80 per bucket, while Reef Crystals are only around $40 per bucket. I eventually switched back to Reef Crystals and have stayed with them ever since.
