
Bluetooth transmitters that don't run on battery but are constantly connected to the network like this one should have a standby mode where they reconnect to previous devices as soon as they sense their presence. This device does not have a standby mode that lasts longer than about an hour; You have to go there and turn it on manually every day you want to use it. All other similar devices I've used in the past have full standby.
