Connectivity is good for home theater

I couldn't get it to work. Connected to headphones but no sound. I've tried everything to get it working. So I returned it.

Good sound quality and no latency

Good quality and crystal clear sound! I was able to unplug the device from my TV's USB port and invisibly install it behind it. Using an optical cable gave me the best sound quality and no latency.

Very disappointed with the selection!

A very disappointing range! Tround replacement, half the price, tiny card-sized device, no antenna, no hassle, DOUBLE the range! Also, this (overcomplicated) beast turns off when there's no Bluetooth device in range, so you have to walk up to it and turn it on (a minor inconvenience). Come back and get another round.

Beware if you're looking for an aptX LL transmitter

- If your receiver supports both aptX HD and aptX LL in TX mode, it will always select HD. There is no option to force LL to be enabled. - Volume control does not work in RX mode. The description says "doesn't work on optics but works on aux" but it doesn't work on aux either. The rest seems to be working fine.

Limited range for receiver and amplifier

I was expecting this unit to allow me to hear my laptop's audio with Bluetooth headphones at a much longer range given the range listed in the product description and the fact that that it should have a more powerful transceiver and larger external antennas. Unfortunately my laptop with built in WiFi had the same range as this unit without an external antenna so I sent it back.

Doesn't have a standby mode that can automatically reconnect every day

Bluetooth transmitters that don't run on battery but are constantly connected to the network like this one should have a standby mode where they reconnect to previous devices as soon as they sense their presence. This device does not have a standby mode that lasts longer than about an hour; You have to go there and turn it on manually every day you want to use it. All other similar devices I've used in the past have full standby.

This product really works exactly as described!

This product really works exactly as advertised! I use a Ziocom device in my very noisy shop. I hooked it up to my old radio and put on noise-cancelling headphones, and now I just leave it on instead of pausing the radio when I'm doing a particularly loud operation. I can move freely in and out of my shop and never lose signal. I even tried plugging in a second pair of headphones for my wife to use while washing her car in front of the shop.
