I recently ordered this 96w MacBook Pro AC adapter after my third brand overheated and died. At first I was concerned that 96W would be too much power for my Mac, but I was wrong. What would normally take an hour and a half to fully charge took just 45 minutes and my computer didn't feel hot! My only complaint, tiny but important to me, is that it's much larger than the adapter that came with my MacBook, so it doesn't fit in my carrying case with the rest of my MacBook's accessories. I'm deducting a star due to the size and the inconvenience of having to find another way to fit it through my suitcase. In general, I'm happy with it, but I have yet to buy a more compact one that rides well on the subway. This remains my new home adapter to which I can connect another device in addition to the cable for my Mac.
