Review on Boho Town Stamped Embroidery Needlework Needlework for Cross-Stitch by Summer Hendricks

First, I had to order the product three times and still received the wrong product. The one I got (S004 - Radfassbär) would be good for a true beginner or a child, but not for a seasoned cross stitcher. There are no parts for this set (no reverse stitches, French knots, half stitches, elastic, etc.); so direct cross stitch Also, the picture and the final product are not the same! The picture on the Revain packaging and ad is very cute and I was excited even though I was wrong. but nothing matches the picture. In the picture, the bear was tan, but the colors for the actual bear embroidery were bright yellow, bright orange, and gold (there were no tan or brown shades in the kit at all). The picture was a detail, but as mentioned, it wasn't. To make matters worse, the choice of color for the printed canvas was unwise. The manufacturer chose a dark red color on the printed canvas, on which it was necessary to embroider a white thread with a cross. The printed canvas was so dark that I had to use a whole piece of filament instead of 3 filament (per the instructions) and I still see the dark red canvas printed behind the white filament. This also applied to other colors printed on canvas. Luckily there was enough thread in the kit to double the threads needed for all cross stitches. I really want the result and the picture to match as I would be very happy if it did! As a seasoned cross stitcher, I would not buy a boho style cross stitch again because of this experience; However, I would consider buying for my little nieces (8 to 12 years old) to start cross stitching.
