This light bar is very bright and long enough to cover 3/4 of my room. It needs a controller that can be anything as long as it supports ws2811. I used the Wi-Fi LED Shop Controller. It's bright enough to fill a room with light no matter what color it's set to. However, it's probably up to the controller, but this light doesn't seem to support saturation control. I can make it pink but I can't make it light pink for example. The controller has a function that converts images into running light patterns, brighter, less saturated colors are also not displayed. Something else. There is NO glue in this tape, just 5 small wall mounts. The brackets are useless if you're going to wrap the strip around the wall of the room like I did. I bought mounting tape to hold it there. The back isn't stuck on some sort of double-sided tape, but the Gorilla got by with the mounting tape. Make sure to stick the tape on the wall first, then stick a strip on it to keep it from falling while you install. You don't need to reconnect to the controller to turn it on or off as it will take some time to connect. This band doesn't come with anything else, so a controller and power supply also need to be purchased.
