Works great as a lap table in a chair. I had a stroke and I have a big problem with my laptop. That's great. My only suggestion is that the back pads should be a little lower so he sits a little higher at the back of the table. It's too flat and my shoulder hurts after using it for a long time. But overall this is the best I've found. I recommend it. Omer is a good deal for the money and really works as advertised.
