I put this in the kitchen because my elderly mother lives with me and she keeps leaning against the stove and turning the knobs, causing a gas leak. I ordered it and felt safe. Well tonight she was in the kitchen and I went to dinner for 25 minutes while my husband who is in bed after knee surgery was at home. When I come back, the whole house smells of gas. My husband got sick and I don't know why. We turned off the throttle and aired the house. The detector never worked and didn't even record an increase in the number indicating the presence of gas. A piece of junk!
