Easy to use right out of the box (and even after sitting on my cold porch)! A little stickier and softer than other clays I've bought before, but it doesn't interfere with shaping! My guess is that after some processing the oil comes out. Smells a little. Vanilla? Consider mixing with my slightly heavier tone. I like to use gray to represent both light and dark tones. UPDATE: Just mixed with equal parts "Smart Craft" clay for a nice sweet spot; not too sticky or soft but pliable and with traction :)
