I used this on my jeep wrangler tj and feels great. Once they get wet I recommend rubbing them down with a red scotchbrite pad. It's also a good idea to lightly sand the shock around some of the welds as there are very sharp edges that won't protect the paint at all. Clean them up with some prep, all you might need is a little primer on bare metal or something, then paint them over with a few coats of light to medium spray paint. . Or just apply a few coats of black paint to make them disappear. Then when they rust it blends into the black and is much less noticeable than the white.
