Great adapter if you need one.
what I think. This is a great adapter for people who need it. I use it to connect additional computers to my 4K monitor (my 4K monitors only have 1 DP input). It has a solid construction, it appears to be an aluminum body (not plastic). I ran it at 4K@30Hz and it worked great with no image quality issues. My monitor supports 60Hz at 4K via HDMI 2.0, which I haven't been able to achieve with this adapter (so I'm assuming it doesn't support HDMI 2.0 if you need it). It gets a little warm after use, so it's definitely an active device. I would recommend it if you have an HDMI only monitor, need more display port inputs for your monitor than you have, or just have a display port only computer. (great in an office environment where you only have HDMI in conference rooms).
