Review on Silver Holographic Mylar Windsock Hanging Decoration - Effective and Ethical Bird and Pest Deterrent by Angel Young

I purchased two of these silver windsocks - one for my east facing porch and one for my west facing porch. Every side of my house gets plenty of morning and/or evening sun, and when the sun hits this thing it honestly lights up my porches like a sparkling disco ball. I love it. I sometimes stand by the door for several minutes and just watch her because it's a little mesmerizing. Another HUGE bonus is that it has reduced bird droppings on my deck and pool by about 95%. Bird droppings have been a big problem for us in the past, so this year I looked for ways to keep birds away. I bought a fake owl that didn't work at all. I've read several times that holographic things scare away birds, so I figured this windsock might help. I'm really amazed at the results - it works wonders! The only downside (which doesn't stop me from buying it again or recommending it to others) is that the windsock straps stick together when it's very wet outside or when not in use. under rain. As a result, I've only made an effort to bring it in when a storm comes. If I don't get to it in time, that's okay - the tapes tear off easily when dry and then look like new again. I highly recommend this product and will probably buy it again in the future!
