Nice quality: my feedback

The dumbell's checkering feels more pronouced than a completely cast dumbell. The dumbell itself weighs a little over 40 lbs (40.3). The rubberized portions feel fairly thick in comparison to some other rubberized dumbells I've owned. Since the dumbell is round it will roll when put down, but the ends themselves are fairly flat so it can be stood upright on the end. It feels balanced but the grips come with a light coat of oil that will need to be cleaned of with a degreaser before you use it.

This is the perfect example of what dumbbells/free weights should look and feel like. I am very happy with this purchase and plan on buying more. Very nice handles and rubber casing. Nicely packaged as well.
