Review on 🔧 60278 Flaring Tool by Yellow Jacket by David Strawn

I googled a lot before I bought this tool. A few years ago I installed a mini splitter and used a "regular" rail flare tool. Feel was maintained throughout the AC cycle, but with heat, pressure increased and flair failed. It cost me 300 to do it again and reload. My concern was to find out what protrusion was required before clamping the pipe. With this tool it has one stop - adjust the clamps to size, insert the tube into the bottom clamp and push all the way down, pull the top clamp to the desired position, slide the wing nut over the top clamp (which moves the stopper to the side) tighten the wing nut and start flaring .
