Review on πŸ” Enhance Visibility with Shoei CNS-1 Dark Smoke Shield Using PINLOCK Technology by Oscar Berry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large shield As expected

I was torn between the $54 Shoei signature shield or the $20 cheaper aftermarket glitzy shield. I decided I wanted quality, not the cool look of an iridescent finish. I've had both Shoei and aftermarket signs, and there's always a "clear" choice if you value quality over cool. I have yet to address the poor fit of a Shoei brand visor, but I can count some aftermarket visors that I have returned due to a poor fit or not fitting at all. The tint is good for bright, sunny rides, and when the sun gets in my eyes I drop my GT Air's built-in tinted visor for an extra tint. Replacing a tinted shield with a clear one only takes 2 minutes if you take your time and don't want to damage any of the shields.

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Some imperfections
