Damn good product

This hoop doesn't help me as much as someone who does counted cross stitches and needs to be able to work both over and under the embroidery. As a traditional embroiderer, I find it handy to have both hands free, but what I love most about this hoop is that it keeps the fabric taut. No more gradual sliding that ends your work with a little crease. Yippee! The choice of a large or small workspace is also great. I agree with other reviewers that the spots where the legs enter the hoops get in the way because their surface rests beneath the fabric like three small platforms. Perhaps it would be better
