Review on ๐ŸŽฎ High-Performance iBUYPOWER Pro Gaming PC with Intel i7-11700F and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 by Jermaine Krishnamoorthy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good gaming computer after improvements.

So far I am very satisfied with this game console. Some detailed thoughts: Pros: 1) The unit was packaged well and I had no issues with loose parts or components coming off during shipping. However, the device I received did not have a foam inlay. 2) Instructions were simple and clear, all support options etc are clearly stated in the documentation. 3) I like the access to the back of the motherboard. and cable. Easy to get to and the zip ties were strong and well made. Updates made easy. Also, the ASUS motherboard is very good and has extremely intuitive and easy-to-use onboard controls for adjusting settings etc. 4) Most of the components seem to be of good quality. The motherboard and GPU in particular were top notch. 5) The case is not only attractive, but also very, very high quality. One of the most beautiful gaming PCs I've ever seen. Updates: 1) Although the 1660 GPU was good quality, my old machine had a GeForce 2070 Super so I replaced it. I sold the 1660 included in this setup for very good money and reduced the cost of this PC by buying a good amount. 2) Since I replaced the GPU, I also had to replace the PSU. I wasn't overly impressed with the 500w PSU (poor quality) but this swap was easy and didn't cost me anything since my old build had a 750w PSU. I would recommend at least a 750w PSU if you want to upgrade anything on this PC. 3) I installed two RAM sticks to increase the capacity of this device to 32GB. Easy and cheap (less than $60). I also love that this motherboard is upgradeable to 64GB of RAM, which provides insurance for a future upgrade. 4) There are many options for adding more peripherals on top of the already large number of ports etc. I always appreciate the space. to expand the PC so that the life of the assembly can be extended. iBuypower did a good job here. An additional USB port or two on the front of the unit would have been even better, but that's a minor issue. Cons: 1) As I said, the power supply wasn't the best. But it's an easy exchange. I will say that the way the power supply is installed (at the bottom of the rig with a bar above it) provides a firm hold and isn't the easiest to remove. 2) In the initial configuration, the device gets very hot. While the CPU cooler is an improvement over a standard machine, it's not enough to run graphics-intensive games at the pace I'm used to. Again, this wasn't a hard decision as I had an upgraded cooler that I just hooked up from my old build. I also installed a fan above the CPU to improve airflow. The good thing is that the top of this PC is vented. 3) Luckily I'm using an ethernet connection since I have a 1GB internet connection. This is a plus as the included WiFi card (and antennas) are basically useless. I turned on Wi-Fi just for fun and couldn't connect at more than 15m/s. Even the WiFi card on my 5 year old laptop gives me about 600 fps on my home network. So I was surprised they even bothered to sell a really good mid-range gaming PC with junk like this. check over. However, my installation at that time was 8 years old. Yes, I've made some upgrades that helped extend the life of this unit, but this iBuypower build has a powerful 17-10700 processor with a great motherboard, very attractive case, and the latest connectors etc. After After selling the included GPU and upgrading some components (most of which I already own), the net cost of upgrading to this PC was about $300 less than the purchase price. And now I have a pretty impressive gaming PC that ranks #1 on UserBenchmark. . Not only the UFO rating, but also the numbers that make up 120% of it and are among the top 20% of installations tested. So, with a few mods, I have a gaming PC that needs to last a very long time. Overall I am very, very happy with this machine. worth your money. IMHO. EDIT: I forgot to mention the two awesome NVME slots on the motherboard. I bought a 1TB Samsung EVO 750 SSD as well as a matching 500GB EVO and left the included 256GB SSD as an OS backup in case of failure (I probably won't be using a 1TB HDD at all). NVME drives are incredibly fast and run as smoothly as possible! A slot next to the CPU is a bit cramped. So if you're like me changing CPU coolers, be sure to install an NVME drive (with the cooler removed) during this process, as this frees up board space. . Yes, and adding inexpensive RGB lighting helps too. A great looking setup that is the fastest, most powerful PC I've ever owned. Very happy with it!
