***UPDATE 8/2021: We continue to get amazing results with this system! When I wake up in the morning and the speed is low, I unplug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in and the whole system reboots. You can also do it from the gateway, but I prefer to do it with a plugin, it's just easier. By the way, it is almost always the SIM card provider and the service that shuts them down overnight. AND GUESS WHAT? We just bought another host for our houseboat to manage all our security and tv streaming. I love this company and everything about it. *** I was so hesitant to buy something that didn't really have reviews or long term market/user trials. The price convinced me! The goods arrived quickly, I couldn't wait to unpack and assemble them. We used a GotW3 modem with a router to increase speed. We use an AT&T SIM card. With one of my new SIM providers, we could not get this card to work in this set, since the actual entry of "IPv4v6" is required there in addition to the PAP authorization. I used whatsapp and also this forum to ask the seller questions. The seller went to the technician and found that this device automatically uses PAP authorization and uses IPv6, but you cannot enter it. I hope this will change in a future software update, but this is currently not possible. Luckily I had the original GotW3 SIM and it worked great. The main unit was very easy to set up; However, I had many problems setting up the satellite device. I tried daisy chaining the ethernet cable from the master to the satellite and to my laptop but it was a terrible failure. Then I tried the WPS key and it ended up resetting the master as a satellite. After 10 reboots of the router after all my failed attempts (OH!) I left the master alone which was connected and working fine and the satellite itself was configured with a network cable on the laptop and on the gateway side set the satellite up. When I saw it was connected I unplugged it then went back to the wireless gateway and entered the new information at the bottom of the page and everything worked together. Part of this is definitely user error on my part as I'm 64 and not as smart as I used to be. My experience dates back to the 1970's but ended in 2008. Some are missing the details of the instructions in the old dog manual. :) All I can say is be patient and it's very easy to set up. AND IT'S WORTH IT! I would like to add that we have a smart home with no less than 35 devices and three separate camera systems, some running on an iPad hotspot. So far it has managed everything without any problems. I highly recommend this system! If you found my review helpful, please click below!
