I bought this to help with home projects I have around the house and this thing works great. When it came time to renovate the house, I had a rusty iron fence and not only could I tear it down, I could put a new one in. The welder itself is lightweight and easy to transport. This not only made it easier to use, but also made it much easier to navigate when working on projects. The adapter works great and allows you to plug this welder into a regular outlet. Although the cord on the welder is not very long, I was able to use it with an extension cord. The welder never turned off any of my switches. The amperage of this welder varies from 20 to 160 amps. I recently used this welder for body work on an old car. With the ability to set the boosters, I was able to fix and fix any body work I needed to do on my car. Whether it's repairing a car or installing a bar fence, this welder lets me do everything in between. This welder cannot be used with oxygen and acetylene, but is an excellent electric welder.
